Sorry to hear you were not able to have your request serviced with Guardsman. I process hundreds of requests from people like you who simply want to use what they purchased. Although your request was not accepted for whatever reason, please know that the Guardsman service agreement is specific in its coverages, exclusions and time reporting requirements. If you did not receive your service agreement at the time of purchase, then a denial for reporting the stain/damage outside of 5 business days isn't your fault. Unfortunately, many retailers neglect to give this important information to the customer, so when the customer is denied for reasons they weren't even aware of, Guardsman gets the blame. So your request was not accepted. Ok. If you have a copy of your service agreement (trifold brochure with Guardsman logo on top, with a protection plan black letters & red numbers 2/3 down on the cover. Didn't get one? Call/visit your store and request what is rightfully yours (providing your sales receipt shows the protection plan purchase). READ IT. Keep it in a safe place. You bought it, so use it when circumstances necessitate. Ignorance is not bliss. Become educated about what you bought and make the most of your hard earned dollars. As always, Guardsman strives to provide outstanding service to all of its customers. We look forward to assisting your again in the future.
