I purchased a furniture protection plan at Nebraska Furniture Mart. Guardsman refuses to respond and clean the stain. they have a litany of excuses and bend over backwards to avoid sending anyone to honor the contract. They have a long list of complaints on this site and other sites.

There are complaints because the consumer has made assumptions on WHAT their warrenty covers. Did you read front to back ALL of the warrenty paperwork? You have made an assumption that YOUR warrenty covers a stain. Unless it is SPECIFICALLY IN THE LAUNGUAGE OF THE WARRENTY, it probably is not covered. SPend some cash and rent a rug doctor for a weekend. This way you can get the stain out and do your carpets at the same time.
