H H Gregg bait & switch dishonest rip-off Clarksville Indiana
On 1/05/03 I went to the H H Gregg store in Clarksville Indiana (just accross the Ohio River from Louisville Ky) intending to buy a HP printer listed in the add that day for less than $149.00. (too low to list they said)
The salesman said they were out of stock and they had NO HP printers at all and in fact were GETTING OUT OF THE COMPUTER BUSINESS.
I elected to see what they were willing to sell me for the price of the HP printer and they came up with a Canon printer for $141.00 that was listed less than $199.00 in the add.
It looked like a good deal so I took it as it would have been $169.00 after rebate and it appears to be a good printer.
Now back to the bait and switch if the sale was limited to store stock that should have been stated in the add.
I guess I'll never learn since the night of this store's grand opening I bought a dual deck VCR complete with extended warranty and when it went out the store like to never have got it fixed.
I guess I will go to Circuit City in the future even if it costs a little more.
