There have been MANY ROR's regarding the Housing Authority and the IDIOT they have running the building security department, Scott "THE PINK PANTHER" Butler, the cross dressing transvestite Assistant Director, "KINKY" Ken Simmons and of course the most overpaid and UNETHICAL slumlord to ever run a governmental agency, "Good Booty" Rudy Montiel. However, I believe this latest example of utter incompetence and shameless lunacy on the part of HACLA's exectuive board takes the cake. The budget to protect the employees at 2600 Wilshire is in the MILLIONS per year. Under Rudy's tenure, the security budget for HIS personal security has skyrocketed while the police department to protect the RESIDENTS and EMPLOYEES inside the actual housing projects was DISBANDED, resulting in ZERO security for them - and 75 ARMED GUARDS to protect Rudy and his gang of crooks. Well - last week Rudy showed exactly how STUPID he really is by not firing Scott Bulter after an incident involving a FELON armed with a LOADED GUN inside the lobby at 2600. Scott Butler ORDERED the guards to release the FELON and let her keep the LOADED GUN she walked in with. Rumor Control (Located on the 5th floor) determined the reason behind Butler's COMMAND DECISION to let the FELON go. It is alledged the woman was in fact Scott Butler's MOTHER who came to HQ to borrow money from her son to buy some "Uppers, Downers and All Arounders". Yep - Butler's mom is not only a dangerous armed felon - she is also a PILL HEAD hopped up on "Goof Balls" most of the day. I DEMAND that Rudy Montiel FIRE Scott Butler before he gets someone KILLED!

initiated an action in the Superior Court of the State of California County
of Los Angeles, Central District, Case No. 454470 due to allegedly false
statements made by you (the Action). In conjunction with the Action,
HACLA seeks to subpoena the records of Xcentric Ventures LLC for your contact
information to the Irvine California office of Fisher & Phillips, LLP at 444
South Flower Street, Suite 1590, Los Angeles, California 90071 in compliance
with Arizona Rule of Civil Procedure 45.
If you do not respond within 7 business

Interesting how you mention the disgraced Maywood police department and the Housing Authority Police in the same sentence. What do they both have in common? TWO THINGS! Rick Lopez -who shot his wife- and another loser cop with the initials of B.T. - HAPD was in great shape until they scraped the bottom of the barrell to comply with the HUD requirements that they hire a token fat lazy thieving mexican (Lopez) and an openly homosexual, crossdressing S & M queen (B.T.) I admit that HAPD went to the shits when they hired those two bozos, but HAPD recovered nicely after they were sent packing to Maywood. Interestly Rick Lopez ended up being a security guard at a high school in Santa Ana and "B.T." became a stripper in a nasty gay drag queen strip club in Tijuana called "Mike' Bar" on Revolution.
Get YOUR facts straight Stanley before you defend Scott "The Pink Panther" Butler, "Kinky" Ken Simmons and "Good Booty" Rudy Montiel.

Aah!! ah, so now we know who's starting all the rumors regarding Captain Scott Butler's alleged "incompetence." It comes as no surprise to know that fifth floor Personnel were/are somehow responsible for this unwelcome slander against HACLA's great security leader. Oh, yes, it's always those people up on the fifth floor at 2600 Wilshire Blvd. which seem to run to sources here at Rip Off Report.com and present juicy stories with little known or no facts.
With or without the strong leadership of Captain Butler, the Housing Authority Security Department have been doing a darn sight better job than the now-disbanded Housing Authority Police Department who, from what I hear, spent more time on the job outside of their assigned areas, making unlawful traffic stops, plus illegal detentions, running personal errands while on duty and downloading porn on government computers. This is where our hard-earned tax dollars were going! Who can blame the powers that be to get rid of a third-rate police agency. They make Maywood look like Beverly Hills PD!
I would have more confidence if a private security company like Bel Air Patrol were assigned to the projects than this "F-Troop!" Lest we forget when the Los Angeles Housing Authority was in operation, nothing was getting done. Crime was at an all-time high and one way to compensate for the fiscal budget was to ask for (and receive ) additional Federal funding in the form of more financial backing for better corporate equipment, newer company cars, while the troops in the trenches continued to be used as sitting ducks.
