I CONTACTED THEM BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD HELP WITH MY BK AND LOAN MOFICATION TO SAVE MY HOME. I DIDNT HAVE THE MONEY TO HIRE THEM BUT DID SEND $200.00 AS RETAINER
I EXPLAINED TO ARLENE MY CONTACT PERSON IN THE OFFICE THAT I WAS VERY ILL AND COULD NOT TRAVEL BUT DID WANT TO GET SOME OF THE PAPERWORK STARTED. I STARTED WITH RUNNING MY CREDIT REPORT WITH THIER OFFICE, THIS I PAID FOR. WE DID THIS TO TALK ABOUT MY DEBT AND BEST COURSE OF ACTION
OVER A FEW WEEKS I WAS DISCOURAGD AND UNHAPPY WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS, ITS REALLY HARD TO GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE AND I GET ANSWERING MACHINE ALL THE TIME
I DO GET LUCKY AND ABLE TO GET SOMEONE ON THE PHONE NOW AND THEN, ITS WHEN I DO THE TRANSFER ME TO ARELENS BOTTOMLESS VOICEMAIL BOX, EACH TIME I DID GET TOT TALK TO HER, ALTHOUGH SHE SEEMED LIKE A NICE LADY, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WTIH SINCE SHE ALWAYS SEEMED LIKE SHE HAD NO TIME, ALWAYS GAVE ME THE RUSH ON THE PHONE. FILING BK AND LOSING EVERYTHING IS NOT EASY THING TO GO THROUGH AND I WOULD THINK SHE WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT PEOPLE HAVE QUESTIONS.
AFTER A WHILE I DIDNT THINK WE WERE A GOOD FIT, I CALLED THEM AND JUST TOLD THEM I WANTED TO CANCEL EVERYTHING AND GET MY MONEY BACK. I DIDNT WANT TO GET INTO COMPLAINING OR STURING UP TROUBLE BECAUSE I DECIDED NOT TO TAKE IT PERSONAL.
IT WAS WHEN SHE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MONEY MONEY BACK, I TOLD HER I CANT BELIEVE SHE WANTS TO CHARGE ME $200 FOR A CREDIT REPORT, BECAUSE THIS IS ALL THEY DID.
I NEVER ONCE GOT TO MEET OR TALK TO MY ATTORNEY, EVEN IF I DID ITS SAID ITS A FREE CONSULTATION . I DID ASK MANY TIMES IF I COULD TALKTO HIM ON THE PHONE,EACH TIME IT WAS AN EXCUSE OR A NO. SHE THEN TOLD ME I SIGNED A CONTRACT , I TOLD HER I DID NOT, BACK AND FORTH WE ARGUED ABOUT THIS AND FINALLY SHE AGREED TO LOOK IN TOTHIS , MEANING anything to get me off the phone as usual
A week ro so later I got a check for $100
THEY still owe me $100 AND REFUSE TO RETURN ANY OF MY PHONE CALLS
I HIGHLY RECOMEND NOBODY GOING TO THIS COMPANY FOR MORE THAN JUST THE $100 they owe me. YOU will never reach any one and if you do your dropped into someones voice mail< they are not patient and do not like answering the questions of clients unless your persistant
TO this day Arlene has not returned any of my phone calls. One good thing was I fuond an attorney Mr Johnson in Las vegas who I found to be very patient and his staff to be very well trained iin that customer service field, and fees to be about $400 less than the RIP OFF OFFICES OF HAINES AND KRAIGER

ITS just like the service they gave me. I never was able to consult with my attorney , the only person i talked to was the person that said she would not refund my money.
I want my money back because they do not get the info I wanted. The perfect example is this reply that took them over a year to write! Look at the date I posted this and the date they replied .
IT does not cost that much money for a credit report AND I do not remember getting a copy of of it
I want my money back - the cost for credit report and want a copy of the report that proves they ran it

I wouldn't hire Haines and Krieger based on the owner's six spelling errors, two grammatical errors, and two punctuation errors. If the owner is that sloppy and incompetent, imagine how the rest of the staff is!

Haines & Krieger's staff are available at all hours of the day, all days during the week, with one goal in mind - to help its clients through difficult financial times. Roy's comments really have no legitimate basis. Every client (including Roy) comes in to initally meet with our staff and attorney for an initial consultation. In Roy's case, this was no different. After Roy's questions were answered, he chose to retain our firm and was provided a creditor report which lists his various creditors. Before Roy paid us any money our staff carefully reviewed a refund policy with Roy which definitively states that once our office is retained the frsit $250 is non-refunadle. This is becuase verious direct charges are immediately incurred by our firm such as pulling a 3 source credit report, opening Roy's case phuyical and computer file, providing Roy instructions on how to complete his credit counseling course, and setting up Roy's creditor response database to begin to take Roy's creditor's phone calls.
Our firm was under no obligation to refund any money to Roy, but nonetheless refunded his retainer fee.
Our firm, Haines & Krieger, treats all its clients with dignity, respect and consideration.
