Hair 2 dye 4 Botched bleach job Winnipeg Manitoba
I don't even know where to start, my hair is completely destroyed to the point of breaking off and falling out! I came in for highlights and walked out nearly balding! Literally hair 2 die for!! Clearly the "stylist" had no idea what she was doing and I can't believe what a nightmare my experience has been with this salon! I wanted a few highlights and my hair was very healthy to begin with. In fact, I had virgin hair. Anyways. I sit in the chair and the girl says she is going to go mix her " gentle" formula. Meanwhile there are some kids running around, picking their noses and playing around with equipment. One of the employees said that it was the owners kids.
I felt really uncomfortable as the little girl was playing around hot irons. I told one of the girls there , as it was a complete hazard and she said that they are always there doing that! I was totally shocked! So the "hairdresser" comes back and starts drenching my whole head in bleach. I had clearly stated I wanted highlights but she informed me that she was weaving hair through and doing it in sections which would give a " more even" and " brighter" look. She did this extremely quick as she appeared irritated. Meanwhile, the kids are running around bumping into clients and screaming! It was completely stressful and distracting. They offered me a cup of hot coffee which nearly spilled on one of the kids as she bumped my arm! After the application, the "hairdresser" ran off... I started to feel a warm burning sensation on my scalp. As the girl that did my hair was nowhere in sight I meantioned it to the hairdresser working beside me. Her response was " that's the cost of looking beautiful" And that it meant that the lighter was doing was it was supposed to be doing.
After an hour or so the " hairdresser" came back and apologized saying she was a bit hungover. She smelt like vomit!! She grabs my arm and drags me into the shampoo room and the kids are still running around. As she is rinsing my hair she looked a bit shocked and by this point my scalp was really burning!! She told me that I was probably having a slight allergic reaction. When we went to the chair to dry my hair, I nearly died!!! My hair was bleached to the point of being translucent and it was falling out in massive clumps! I immediately asked to speak to the owner and apparently she was gone for the day! Anyways, my hair is completely distroyed! I have no idea what this hungover hairdresser was thinking! I've tried contacting the owner but apparently she hasn't been around. Kinda odd considering her kids were left there running around. I am so disgusted and distraught! Whatever you do stay far away from this salon!!! I'm warning you!
