HALF.COM HALF.COM RIPOFF INTERNET
I am very frustrated with Half.com. I purchased a text book for my son for a college class. The book never arrived, the seller never responded to email inquiries and Half.com has NOWHERE to contact them with problems! There is no phone number or customer service address (that works!) I cannot even file a claim until after a month from shipping date! I need information now!
I will never order anything online from Half.com or Amazon.com (it's parent company) again. The frustration is not worth the little bit you save.

I have had this problem more then once. They dont seem to care about Half.com orders as much as there ebay.com orders , even though there owned and operated by the same owner. I went so far as to call the Half.com 1800 Customer service number...but dont bother , they wont tell ya anything you dont already know. I tryed to get them to tell me the Sellers contact information so i could phone them. They would not! All they tell you is to go to your purchuse page and click Email Seller, but chances are if the seller HAD replyed to emails you wouldnt be trying to get other contact info! I still dont understand why the buyer cant get the sellers contact information for a half.com order even after you have GIVEN the seller you money already. After the useless converstation i had with a Half.com Customer service rep, I decided to get sly a bit. I knew already that you can get contact information via the ebay website for Ebay purchuses, but not Half. Which BTW is total bull in my Opinion. The seller i bought from also sold stuff on Ebay, they are a power seller. So what i did was Go to one of the sellers Ebay Acutions and played a bid on what ever it is. After that.I went to the Request Seller contact information webpage on ebay and entered in the Ebay Acution # i had just bidded on, along with the sellers UserID. It gave me all kinds of information on the SELLER! Address , town , and yes a PHONE NUMBER! :) so after i copyed the information down , i went back to the ebay acution of the seller i just bidded on and retracted the bid. I called the # , talked to the seller , and finally after a couple phone calls , they emailed me the UPS tracking number i sought out the entire time. Sometimes you just have to take things into your own hands when the sites them self Fail. GOod luck!
