Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Allie Cresswell of Hampton Models will do all possible to take the monies earned from her talents without clear explanation and for more than the 20 percent noted from her website.  I lost the total amount of $180.00 from a job done for a major cosmetic company in New York, working as a spokesperson for an industrial video shoot in April 2011.  The job for the talent was for $500.00. Allie of Hampton Models will make all kinds of excuses to justify reasons to take her talents' monies in order to make a profit. She insists that you fill out the Hampton Models voucher and that you mail the voucher to her; therefore, she and her company will have the means to take as much money as she wants without justification. I have also collected  "negative" testimonies from friends and colleagues in the acting/modeling business, having also dealt with this modeling agency "Hampton Models" and their shady dealings.    I have substantial proof via emails from her and every word she wrote is proven to be false.  Every email centers on her getting her money with elaborate excuses and that her talents mean nothing to her!  Please avoid Hampton Models at all costs.  I got burned as one of her talents.  I am thankful to have removed my connection with this agency.  I have been told that Allie Cresswell has been stalking young kids at shopping malls, in order to recruit more models and talents for her agency in the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, Long Island.  So beware folks!  She can NOT be trusted.  Her agency is a lie!

They don't do their job.   Send you on a casting, get the booking then doesn't follow up at all. Allie is evasive and slippery.   No one can help in the office. Non professional,  burbs, agency..   bubble gum.  Eyves dropping on castings .....When they pay me, I will change this post to I GOT PAID

I worked a job for 600.00 and never got paid. It’s been 4 months since the booking .. It seems like no one got paid either. They do not return emails when I or others asked about why we haven’t got paid.. in my opinion I would be very wary of taking another print job

Whether you are a model, actor, dancer, singer, etc.  Know the score and check the facts before you sign with any agency.  Yes, there are "scouts" all over, some are scams some are genuine.  Do your homework before committing your representation to an agent/agency and carefully consider every job offered to you.

Agencies earn commissions from the models they book (20%) and earn another fee from their clients (20%).  So the agency earns $40 for every $100 promised to the talent.  That's 40 cents out of every client dollar budgeted.

Reality bites.  The client pays $600 to the agency, the model has to send a snail mail voucher to the agency signed by the client (and model, photographer etc.).  The model ends up with $400 gross for the work with a check from the agency (up to 45 days after the shoot or event) and a 1099 at tax time.  40% is rather a stiff commission/fee for a short term temporary assignment, even if it is "accepted standards".  The excessive 40% surcharge business is the more salient and morally reprehensible issue to consider in all of this.  The models who don't keep journals and mileage and receipts end up paying taxes on their gross, which typify most of those not associated with an industry major.

There is really more here to keep in mind.  Agencies have long claimed the talent they book are independent contractors.  Contracts between agencies and talent, typically are "non-exclusive", meaning the talent can be represented by more than one agency.  However, recent decisions by the NYSDOL seem to indicate that agencies like Hampton Models are employers, given their complete control of screening and selection processes in addition to their accountability as fiduciaries for billing and payment

Hampton Models is the best agency I've ever worked for! That negative report is nothing more than slander and ENTIRELY FALSE!

I have been working with Hampton Models as a Model for almost 6 years now. I cannot truly express how much further from the truth this negative statement is against Hampton Models and Allie Cresswell.

I came to Allie after being scammed by an illegitimate agency (Hollywood Image) and after being told by an Agency in NYC that I needed to shrink my hips to get work. I was disheartened and frustrated with my experiences, but Allie gave me hope. She accepted me the way I was and even took the time to snap some shots of me with her personal camera. Within a week I booked a 7 page fashion editorial spread for a prestigious Hamptons Magazine. Since then I have booked hundreds of jobs with Hampton Models. I have also worked with other well known agencies in Manhattan and throughout the Tri State Area. I can tell you with confidence that Hampton Models has given me more work than all of the other agencies combined. I have no doubt that every model and actor that has had the pleasure of meeting or working with Allie and her staff can vouch that the comments posted by the Elizabeth Arden Spokesmodel are entirely false. I and any model/ actor I have met, have never had anything more than 20% (the industry standard), and the one time website fee deducted from their earnings with Hampton Models. Trust me I have worked with many agencies in the city who go as far to print out monthly statements for their models and find every bogus reason they can to deduct from your earnings.

To rebut the comment about recruiting in the mall- this is once again entirely false. Hampton Models had never recruited children at the mall. Hampton Models should never be confused for New Faces, or New Faces Development nor is there any connection or affiliation to Hampton Models.

To see such hurtful word describe Allie Creswell is so disheartening. Again, I cannot express how much further than the truth this persons statement is. Over the last 6 years I have had the pleasure to know Allie Creswell and I can tell you she is by far the most honest, helpful and kindest person I have met in this industry. On a more personal note she is a truly inspiring person, amazing mother, and a great friend.  If you still have any doubt about Hampton Models you can speak with me, or any of the hundreds of models and actors represented by them. I am truly confident that all will stand by Allie Cresswell and her agency.

HAMPTON MODELS ARE ACTUALLY ONE OF THE LAST OF THE GOOD GUYS

I have had many jobs booked for me by Hampton Models and never had a problem with payment...when they get paid, I get paid and always the correct amount. The model who posted this negative post did find a mistake in payment that was corrected immediately by the agency. The model who posted this false and libel filled statement is falsely claiming to be an Elizabeth Arden spokesperson, but all are welcome to verify with the company to the see if this is true.
I also see that she has attempted to libel the company with a false hear-say accusation that Hampton Models is attempting to recruit children with the intent to defraud at local shopping malls which also is untrue.
Hampton Models ,with its owner Allie Cresswell, is a legitimate enterprise licensed by the State of New York which has found work for many talented and grateful models and actors throughout New York. All terms are stated upfront and agree upon before they are singed by both parties and the agreement is a freelance agreement, you are free to find work elsewhere....with other agents or on your own.
I find it a sin that an agency, organization or individual can be slandered in such a manner in a clear way to cause such entities monetary harm and I know there are not many good guys left in this world , especially in the modeling and talent industry....But in a world where you can't make everybody happy, they do a great job doing so, making many happy....They are one of the Good Guys that are left !!!!!!
