Hartford Auto Club ripoff, never even conversed with these people! Stolen information fraudulent ripoff business North Miami Florida
I received in the mail yesterday this Hartford Auto Club membership. I couldn't figure out what the hell they were talking about. I have had triple AAA for years and never contracted anyone else for this service.
So I had my wife call them to cancel it before they said they were going to deduct $99 from my checking/savings account (how did they get that info if I never spoke with them). She was enraged on the phone because they said they needed ME to be there or speak with them to cancel.
I work 12-14 hours a day and they're offices are only open from 9-5 so it is nearly impossible for me to make the call. Foremost, how can I cancel something I never agreed to? My wife told them that if they dare touch my accounts they would definitely be pursued and SUED! This is outrageous.
Furthermore she went on the internet to her and my surprise to find this reporting service on the same thing that I was being put through...how can they get away with this and who provides them the information? Stolen identity, accounts, etc. It's not fair...how and what can we do to stop these companies from getting fat on fradulent contracts?
