I responded to an ad on a popular job search forum and almost immediately received a response. Within an hour I was given a phone number to call for a conference call style "interview." Turns out the interview was nothing but a sales pitch for their identity theft protection service, and the "job" was to recruit more people to sell it. The catch was that all new recruiters are required to purchase the company's id theft protection.

Clearly a pyramid scheme. "Plan to make $2000 your first month!" "Most of our full time recruiters make 6 digit incomes!" "You'll be promoted to the next level in 2-3 weeks, and within 6 weeks you'll be a Recruiting director. Your signing bonus will go up with each level you get promoted to!" No kidding, because those are more and more suckers purchasing their "product."

I'll be looking out for my own identity being stolen after this.

please pay attention to ALL small print and (check boxes)..... these are important to your info. and I.D. theft!  newbies, (new folks) please read and follow, or simply you may wake up and mom or dad's credit card may be GONE!  as a pain as it may be,, read agreements' UNCHECK 3rd party use of your info.  forget the BBB, they have no control anymore.  a sign on a merchants front door means "i have screwed the gov't, and  (not me, the merchant) i will screw you TOO"

be carefull,,, do your own research!  DO NOT APPLY to a company you have not researhced!  PLEASE BE CAREFULL!    ray
