Harvey Greenwald, Dirk Wagenaar Con men working investment scam - SECURITIES FRAUD Chicago Illinois
These frauds use several business and trust names, including St. Augustine Trust, but the fraud is very similar - they promise funding for your business and you put up 1% to start the ball rolling. 2 months later - they begin to cash flow your business or project. I was recruited by these guys thru an investment advisor that I paid $2500 for an active email blast to bona fide large incestors.
They made me jump thru a lot of hoops, which made the whole process seem real, like they were doing due diligence. At each stage, the project grew and the amount I would have to come up with grew as well, until we were up to 50 million $. which meant I had to come up with 500K to get started. My board approved it and off we went. It's now 6 months later and all i get is beligerent excuses and no returned phone calls or emails.
We've hired a private investigator and what we've found is amazing. Harvey has been running scams against people, business, the State of Kansa and even an Indian tribe since the 80's. Theodore E Robinson has been ripping people off all over the US (check out Craft Work in Florida) and Dirk Wagenaar is an international money laundering expert.
We have initiated civil action and have a couple of agencies, inslucing the SEC on to them for securities fraud. These guys are very bad news.
