Haynes Furniture Ripoff Lie about warranty coverage and refuse to even talk to you on the phone Virginia Beach Virginia
In the past 4 years, I have spent thousands of dollars at Haynes furniture. I have purchased carpet for my entire home, new living room furniture, a 7 piece dining room set, matresses, rugs, and paintings. Every piece of furniture that I have ever owned has been from Haynes as well.
When I bought my living room furniture, I chose to buy the warranty through stainsafe as well. The warranty claims to cover spills, burns, pet stains, defects and much more.
Two years later, I found that the sofa cusions were sinking and pulled away from the couch. Also, I noticed that the pillows were unraveling on both the sofa and chaise lounge and there was a stain on the arm of the couch. I called Haynes and they referred me to stainsafe who sent one of their "technicians" out to my home and he looked at the couch and wrote something down. He said that someone would contact us and let us know whether or not the sofa and chaise lounge would be repaired. No one ever contacted us, however we received a letter 30 days later that stated there was no visible damage or defects, therefore our claim was denied.
I called Haynes and was transferred to several different people with nasty attitudes. They acted like I was bothering them and did not want to help me. You are lucky to even get anyone to talk to you, I have found that when the receptionist answers and you explain your problem, she immediately transfers you to someone who also cannot help you. It is ridiculous. I tried calling stainsafe as well and they told me that there was nothing that they could do.
I will never buy another piece of furniture or carpet from Haynes. They have taken my money for services that they did not render. I do not blame stainsafe for not fixing my furniture, I blame Haynes for not choosing a reputable company to represent them. I hate to be lied to, especially by a company that I have given thousands of dollars to.
