HCR Bancorp - Mr. Steve Gurnee Refuses to pay for services rendered. Salem Connecticut
Mr. Steve Gurnee of HCR Bancorp, LLC contracted my company to complete a commercial, narrative appraisal for him and now refuses to pay the bill. Mr. Gurnee collected the funds for the appraisal from his client, but will not pay my company for the services rendered. He refuses to take my phone calls, will not respond to my emails, and the answer service for his company is no help in contacting him. His unprofessionalism is abslutely astounding.
The only response I have received from him is that the check was sent in the mail, but must have been lost and he promised to Fed/Ex a check ASAP. Needless to say, the phantom check never arrived and Mr. Gurnee will no longer respond to my calls and email. He is a blatant liar, and he is part of the problem with today's economic issues. I urge anyone reading this not to pay Mr. Gurnee one dime towards any kind of transaction he may propose. He is a conman, and will simply take your money and disappear. And anyone completing a service for him, GET PAID IN ADVANCE!!! You'll never see your money otherwise.
