I found an additional $20 charge on my phone bill through Qwest from Headwind media that apparently runs a celebrity social networking site. With only a name, telephone number and email address they signed me up using a dummy IP address that is linked to some poor 19 year old girl in Iowa, (I'm in Colorado) and used a fake date of birth and initiated 20 dollar monthly charges. I was fortunate to catch this before I paid a dime to these people, but I'm afraid others may not be so diligent with the details located within their phone bill. I have a ton of information proving these people a running some kind of very large and elaborate scam that, by my estimation, could very well produce millions of dollars in revenue each month. This is a clear case of identity theft and privacy intrusion, as well as all out theft. In my opinion, there may be a potential for a class action lawsuit, not only against this headwind media, but also the individual phone companies who are collecting money from unsuspecting customers and failed to conduct due diligence and realize that they are in bed with a scam artist... a very talented and savvy scam artist. jdelnero(((REDACTED)))
