I joined this Directory to promote my business. I have spent weeks attempting to deactivate the account and have requested repeatedly for this organization to stop charging my credit card.

There is no way to contact them other than e-mail and they keep sending the same response over  and over again.

Hi There!

If you would like to deactivate your entire Ning account, you'll first need to leave all Ning Networks you are a part of, using the steps below. Then, let me know when you have finished that and I can proceed with the deactivation.

1) Sign in to http://www.ning.com.
2) Click on the "Ning Networks" link at the top of the page. Select "I've Joined" to view the Ning Networks you are a member of.
3) For each Ning Network you'd like to remove yourself from, click "Leave" below the network name and tagline.
4) Confirm that you'd like to leave this Ning Network and delete all your content by entering your password. Repeat this process for all the Ning Networks you'd like to leave.
5) If you've created any Ning Networks, delete them under the "I've Created" tab. Select "Delete" below the network name and tagline, and confirm that you'd like to delete your Ning Network by entering your password. Repeat this process for all the social networks you've created.

Once you have removed all of your content, please reply to this email and we'll go ahead and deactivate your account. We won't deactivate your account until we receive your reply.

Cheers,
The Ning Team

I have done this over and over again and there is never a response

Are you trying to remove yourself from Healing International or the entire Ning network?  the two are not the same.  You say your complaint is against Healing International, but the email you outline is directly from Ning, which is nothing to do with the former.

You need to contact Ning.  Also, as far as i know Ning do not charge a recurring fee to any member.  They have just recently introduced a paid for service to Ning Network owners, but this would only apply if you created your own network.

If you have a genuine complaint to Healing International then you should contact the network owner directly through the site - there will be a link usually on the right hand side to do so.
