HelloCom is a Manipulative & Misleading Company

My sister who barely speaks English receives a phone call from a Filipino rep. Saying, '...don't worry, we're just giving you 'FREE' minutes to the Philippines. We're not switching your long distance, etc.' My sister explained to me that she was told to say ONLY 'YES, YES, YES' in order to receive this 'FREE' minutes to the philippines.

This Manipulative & Misleading representative not only switched our long distance but also our toll long distance. This rep not only pleaded with my sister but also mentioned to her that 'HE' will be fired if she doesn't get the 'FREE' minutes.

After many calls to their 'customer service' to resolve the matter; I was promised to receive a phone call from the manager. That was 2 months ago and never received a call. I called back Jan 11, 08 and spoke to a rude female representative who was not at all willing to make any adjustments; she was in hurry to get me off the phone.

Needless to say, this company is ruthlessly manipulative; preying on elders who barely speaks English to lure them into this 'FREE' minute promotion.

Shame on you!

Hello Com Long Distance is a very fraudulent company. I have no idea if their business is legitimate or not, but for me, the way they conduct their business with potential customer is very manipulative. Not only that, after you are already a customer... Their customer service representatives are annoying as hell, impolite, sarcastically mean, so uncaring and very unhelpful. I am such a patient, nice and kind person but I am in tears both from sadness & anger after dealing with them all. I pray that no one will experience again what I have experienced.

I wish I could have installed WOT long time ago... because if I did, I would have had received a WOT WARNING sign when I click on the page ( just like now) and would not have signed with Hellocomld.com early this year. My dealings with them are very regretful and certainly a learning experience. Please save yourself from heartaches & great trouble and just consider other long distance companies but BAD Hellocomld.com
