If you were to fill a standard 4-door sedan's gas tank with inkjet ink, it would take over a quarter of a MILLION DOLLARS to fill your tank. Not kidding. Do the math. Here's what you do. Go buy yourself a LASER printer. The price you're paying for ink in 4 months will easily pay for one. The average ink cartridge will print about 300 pages. Black, at a standard 5% of page coverage. At $33-45.00 each. A laser printer toner will print 2000 pages (even the low end ones) for about $99.00, again at that 5% coverage model. Recap: Inkjet = 9 to 11 cents per page Laser = 2-3 cents per page Color inket = at least .35 cents per page Color laser = @.10 per page You'll get 6x the bang for your buck with laser. They are a little more expensive upfront, (you can get one for about $100.) but they are reliable, last forever and are cheaper to run. I picked one up at my local electronics store for $99.99, and I'll never EVER buy an inkjet again. And HP is, surprise, the most expensive when it comes to color lasers and ink cartridges. I'd go with someone else.
