HFC / HSBC/Mortage One Corp. False statements, Lies. Carol Stream, Illinois
We had a mortgage with Washington Mutual, When they went under HFC took over the mortgage. That was over 6 yrs ago. My wife and I run into hard times and ask to be put onto HFC hardship program. After jumping though all there hoops we got onto it for 6 months. After the 6 months things were the same if not worse.We ask for hardship again. And once again I sent in all the papers. After not hearing back for 3 months I called. And talked with Tray he said nothing was done as of yet. I told him I was censored that I was falling behind in payments. and he said( Don't send any payment as it will screw up the hardship.) I was then sent a letter telling me to talk to a Miss Davis she was my Mortgage servicing specialist. I called this woman at least once a week for 3 months ONLY to be told they were running behind getting the modification done. I asked Miss Davis if anything did not happen if HFC would come after me for the past payments missed. She said ( HFC does not do that We want to help each and every costumer to beable to stay in there homes. HFC will work with you) So now in month 7 I get a letter saying I have a new Mortgage servicing specialist a alfreda Bailey. I have talked with her many time per months only to hear the same thing.modification dept are running behind. Now we are in the 8th month and I get a call from alfreda Bailey telling me the modification went though, That my interest was lowed ( TO what I was never told ) and my payments were at $631.94. I told her that was the same as before that there was NO change. All she could say was ( So when can we expect that payment) I said by Sept 13 2012. I now have received a letter stating I own HFC $5,760.39 payment due buy 10/7/12 and that this amount is the only amount that will be accepted. I have made 3 calls to this alfreda Bailey only to leave a message. I have read many other reports about the doings of HFC and something needs to be done. IF anyone can help with this please respond. ENOUGH is enough
