I can agree that the rebates are not HHgregg's fault; however, this store is known to be completely rude. They harass customers as apparently their sales associates are given way to much for each sale. Its disgusting. Not only will they harass you to buy buy buy but they have NO knowledge of what they are trying to sell and will lie to you when they don't know.
This store has ignorant rude managers that will not help you when you have problems with their employee's including when they do something illegal. Look at my report if you want more details. 'HHgregg liars and theives' columbia SC

Well first off I did work for hhgregg awhile back and one thing that I can tell you about rebates are that the manufacturer(not HH Gregg) pays for them in a hope that you as consumers will either A. not send them in, or B. not fill them out correctly creating a loop hole for them to deny you money that you should have coming to you. But yes, this is a rather discomforting thing to happen but i will testify that you should be saying that: Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Magnovox, Olevia, Panasonic, etc... is at fault not the companies who sell the products they make.
