What the employee claims might be correct however it does NOT account for the lie recieved over the phone. HHgregg employee's are known to lie. They will do anything to get you into the store then harass you until you either buy something else or get extremely frustrated because of their rude attitude and flip out.
As far as the rest of the internet order yes that is the consumers fault as internet orders on any website to include the major chains like walmart and lowes can take 24-72 hours to process and they even state that on the webpage.
HHgregg employee's have no excuse to lie from the beginning though. If they would have been honest or taken the 2 minutes to check the inventory and told her they were out of stock she would not have tried to order one. Claiming that there is a truck coming in the next day... I seriously doubt that was an honest answer as well since I've personally experienced how quickly your employees will lie, be rude and flat out disrespect your customers.
Once again it's amazing that HHgregg is still in business.

HHGregg reversed the charges on your bank card, but the bank takes a couple of days to put the money back into your account. Maybe you should be mad at your bank. As for your internet order, those are placed on the internet. It can take up to 72 hours to process the order and then you can pick it up at the store that is why the store did not have record of it, it was not processed yet. As far as the TV in stock. You stated that they were selling it at a ridiculously low price. Do you think that you were the only one interested in the TV? At a really low price of course the TV's are going to go fast. You said that it was not busy. Can you verify that it was not busy at the time of your call or the 30 min. it took to borrow a truck and drive to the store? I think you wanted instant gratification and you were upset that it could not happen starting with the TV purchase, the internet order, and the time it took for the bank to credit the money back to your account.
