Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

1. Sold us 2 dogs, one of which had serious neurological issues. After telling Dee Levine that the dog was ungreedable, she told us to breed Axle with Artifical Insemination. This is their method of making money rather than honestly and ethically improving the breed and serving their customers.

2. Offered to make up for the neurologically damaged dog by giving us a replacement if we paid the transportation costs. When my wife shows up at DFW airport to collect the new "imperial" stud, he seemed a little large, but my wife just assumed she was tired from traveling and mis-judging the dog's weight. Dee shows up with a contract, ostensibly to cover her own a** with the neuro damaged dog, and THEN, apparently either tricked my wife into signing some contract with hidden terms , or wrote a paragraph in the contract after the fact,or just simply lied. The contract was NOT to make up for the dog, but rather had a term in it (we are pretty sure written in later) where we owed them 3 PUPPIES from the replacement dog's breeding.

3. To show our further stupidity, when Dee Levine offered us a discounted dam who was "imperial sized", we bought her. Dee convinced us that the dog was heavy only due to the fact that she was pregnant. We thought it strange they would ship a pregnant dog. But the con was complete when she offered to allow us to keep one of the pups if we would take care of the pregnancy. Of course the dog was NOT pregnant and weighed much more than an imperial. She was 15 pounds which is on the heavy size even for a standard sized shih-tzu.

4. Total, we were out $7,000 and they refused to make any of it right saying "we are not Walmart".

5. We sued and won and then they claimed to have never gotten notice of the trial. When we showed the court proof of the service and that Dee Levine had signed for the papers, they then created the falsehood that they got the papers and that the papers were magically blank on the page where the clerk had written in the court date for them. The judge simply set it for another trial date.

6. In the end, we settled and then they sent us a fake vet report for a different dog saying that the dog we gave them had some illness. The dog we sent was named Bruno and the report was for some dog named Rafael. (they told us they changed the name of the dog even though they are not keeping the dog and the dog answers to Bruno). The continue to lie and make no sense.

In Summary... do NOT deal with Holy Shih-Tzu, Joe Levine or Dee Levine out of Burleson, Texas. They make all of their money to live off of dogs and are the worst of the backyard breeders. One friend of ours we have met through this fraud of theirs said that they toured the Levine place and Dee bragged that it was set up so well that she did not even have to go into their kennel "for days".

RUN, HIDE, and SAVE YOUR DOGS!!!

Subject: Re: Offer to settle

To: Joseph G. Levine

Again Joe. I wonder if there is an honest bone in your body. You try and twist everything that happens between us and your answers are always fraught with inconsistencies and inaccuracies.   The offer was sent on Tuesday night, not yesterday. I sent a text to your wife informing her that the offer had been sent that night. You and/or your wife chose to ignore that text and the email. We have pushed and pushed to have this thing settled and you literally sent one email regarding some supposed attorney until last week when the court date got close and you actually began trying to settle.    To say that we demanded a response is ridiculous. We were trying to settle prior to court. We were trying to save time and money for all of us. Now that we have been to court, lost time at work, and expended more money, the offer has to change. We have tried and tried and tried to get you and Dee to talk to us and come to an agreement. Don't act as if this is some surprise. I told you every step of the way what would happen. I tried to get an answer early on. You referred to an attorney you would be speaking to. Then I never heard back from you. I reached out 3 more times. In one of the efforts I informed you that we would begin to share our experiences with you on social media to protect other people and garner support for more plaintiffs. You ignored me again. Then you act as if there was some surprise that my wife discussed this on social media? I told you what we were doing before we did it. Do not act as if you were caught off guard.    Same thing now. We have discussed court several times. You knew there was a deadline. We tried and tried to beat that deadline. You act as if this is not important while people are gathering for yet another lawsuit. I know you poked fun at my issue with the bar, but rest assured that Texas only suspended my license due to a rule that requires them to do it if another state does it. I get my license back on October 17. Please read this and understand that I will be pursuing another lawsuit in Texas the week of the 17th if this is not done, settled and put to bed prior to that time. Don't act surprised on the 16th if we are pushing for action. You and Dee have dragged your feet on purpose. I do not bluff. I do not lie. And I do not hesitate on legal matters. I am not trying to be the big lawyer guy as I have no license right now, but please listen this time. I do not want there to be any surprise on your part.    I will read the offer right now and get back to you. I would have done it last night, but this issue for me is no longer a priority as the court date has passed and I already have a judgment for almost $7,000. I can start doing liens immediately. I have chosen not to for a while so that I can avoid yet more costs in pursuing this. Please understand that the liens are still on the table. I don't want you to be surprised. This is not a threat. This is simply me telling you the next step. I hope that if you listen and understand where this is headed, that maybe you will stop posturing and actually try to get this thing done.  Dee lied to AKC stating that she whelped MY litter of pups. AKC is opening their own investigation. We gave her dog JoJo (Joplin) as settlement. JoJo was seen by my veterinarian, stated this dog should absolutely not breed due to large hernia. Dee received JoJo, and claimed she whelped the litter. Dee is obviously planning on breeding her if she was motivated enough to lie to AKC.
