Home Info Max Scam Artist - took my money and would not give it back Encino, California
Company states they provide document image services. After signing up for that service I quickly (within 5 minutes) realized I would be charged multiple extra fee's for utilyzing what they say they offer. In addition to that there is NO customer service. They will not return a phone call. Ever. They only operate via email. After signing up and NOT reading the fine print like every other person does not. I was enterered into a one year contract. Immediatley upon finding out the company does not truly offer what they say they offer at the price they offer (once again found out within 5 minutes) I sent an email and left voicemails for a cancellation and / or a solution to receiving what I thought I was paying for. They returned my email within 6 hours and advised basically I have no grounds for cancel and they will not return my $149 fee. I gave them a chance to right the issue two times and they did not advising that is not there policy. Therefore I charged back on my credit card (anyone can do this) and my credit card issued me a full refund. They have to prove in court that they deserve that money. I also gave them the chance to just give me my money back and I would not report any of this. They once again decilned via email. This company is a scam and unfortunately one of the resson's America is falling apart. There are no honorable businesses anymore. This sadly is just another one of them.
