Home Team Advantage, Doug Livingston,john Ostendorf took my money and gave me the run around Delray Beach Florida
i have given $12,000.00 of our hard earned money to this company. that was back in dec 07 and jan 08. i had to fight to get my permit to proceed they finally got my permit may 9th.
to date the only things that have been done is demo work in the very beginning of june after my husband did half of it and we really started to get disgusted. my concrete was cut and that was only after i picketed the business on june 20th and forced doug livingston to sign a paper stating it would get done by june 24th 08.
i also gave them $6,411.00 on march 1st for cabinetry which was not started until july when i demanded my cabinets. well i was called by john ostendorf july 11th that they were done and were going to be delivered. i told him i wanted to inspect them before deliverey because of unhappy clients who told me to be careful. i then drove down to pompano beach and inspected them. they were not ready.
the finish was like sand paper, so much dirt in it. scratches, dents and miscut shelves. no doors were ever made. we have had it. we are at wits end with this company, all it is is run around. they both are facing over 60 counts of grand theft from a previous company. which i learned well after i checked them out with the BBB.
there are over 100 customers from home team advantage with the same complaints. all can be verified. i have notified every judicial system in my state. even the goveners office. i was told to hire an attorney by all. seems no one can help us. here i sit with a shell of an unusable bedroom and my livingroom also unusable.
they were also to add an addition to my bedroom, well all i have is a sand pile and a mess. i live in a condo. and the hoa only gave me 90 days to complete this project outside from the date of my hoa's approval that was feb 19th 08.
please, please someone help us. all of the consumers who were scammed by this company. it is july 18th that i write this letter. my job was supposed to be completed in full by the end of this month. it has ruined our lives. constant strain on my marriage because all we ever discuss is this mess. i invite anyone who can somehow help us to sort this out. i can provide all the information. thank you for taking the time to read this.
