HOMEQ SERVICING rip-off NORTH HIGHLANDS California
Homeq has bugged the crap out of us since they purchased our mortgage from another company. We had no choice in this matter mind you which is another gripe all together different. Ever since they took over our mortgage it has been a nightmare. If our payment was not posted on the 30th of every month, they would call 10, 15, 20 times a day. No I am not kidding. It did not matter if I talked to them everytime or let the answering machine pick it up.
I finally get so mad when I answer the phone and they start, I ask them do they think anything has changed in the 20 minutes that I last talked to you. We are not assessed a late fee until the 15th day of the month.
Every mortgage we have ever had, no matter who it was with, had a "grace" period. We have always paid our mortgage within this period and have a perfect credit rating. But Homeq can't seem to get this. I would think it cost more money in manning telephones to call people like me than waiting until people are at least LATE!Even though we pay our payments before the 15th, somehow we are still getting late charges on our statement every month.
When I call to question the charges, I get the same old song and dance. I will bring it to my supervisor's attention. Now, we are trying to get set up on automatic draft (to get them to quit calling my house THANK GOD FOR CALLER ID)and can't until late charges are PAID.THAT IS CLOSE TO $200.00. IMAGINE THAT! THEY ARE CROOKS AND VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH. IF I HAD A DIME FOR EVERY SMART a*s REMARK I'VE GOTTEN THEN I COULD PAY THEM OFF.
If they could at least cut out the rude comments, they could probably get more results than they do. I would be willing to join in a law suit to at least prove a point to them. YOU CAN'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND GET AWAY WITH IT!
