Homeq ripoff Sacramento California
My Mother and sister filed for a loan with this company and put the house up for collateral. At the time the house was appraise it was in bad shape but they still gave my mother the loan for $30,000.00 and the collateral pay off would be $67,000.00
They told my mother that after she paid good on her loan for 2 years that she could refiance, it has been two years and she has never been late on a payment, she received a letter in the mail the other day stating the amount of the Current Principal balance which is $22,980.34 and a note was attached stating that this is just the principal amount not the pay off amount. We are in a pickle and need some type of advice on what steps to take to get this matter resolve. Thank you
