Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Homeward Residential, formerly AHMI is the most unprofessional financial organization I have ever seen.

Admittedly, due to extreme financial hardship, I fell behind in my mortgage payments. The nightmare continues when trying to get accurate information from this organization. In trying to get my reinstatement amount, this organization repeatedly jacked me around with numbers that were 'off' wildly.

For example, when I requested a reinstatement amount, I was given an 'estimated' number of $38K, and the 'actual' amount came in at $27K. Then, once the forebearance agreement was signed, they changed the amounts of my payments! It just goes on and on with this outfit.

I don't know where to turn to file against this firm because I have never seen a worse organization, and I believe that many Americans are being ripped off by this company. I call them on all of their BS, but I am just so tired of their nonsense, and having fees added to my account with any documentation. They will just say, 'we determined we needed to add X, Y, Z, additional to your account and now your pay is....

There's no justification. They told me the fees I needed to pay were 'all in'. Then they came back and added over $17K onto my agreement. I wouldn[t have known unless I looked at my online account statement.

If there is someone suing this company, I'd really like to be in on it. They deserved to be sued as I believe they are defrauding us, and using 'add back' fees etc to extract more money. One of the most egregious offenses is the way they handle a reinstatement amount.

I requested mine on 31 Oct. I was told it was good until 15 Nov. They gave me the amount on the after the banks were closed on the 9th, and then told me I had to have the payment into them by the 11th, which was a Sunday or they could not process my payment. Then I had to get a new amount figured out, with a Sherrif sale pending where I could lose my house. The SECOND reinstatement was LOWER than the first! Even on my agreement, there are two columns of figures for repayment, and they DON'T match!

Why doesn't this company know to the penny what I owe them? Please contact me if there is some firm willing to put this crappy organization in its place.
