Diana Rubio of www.horseinaroundinc.com hired 5/20 to transport my horse from SC - AZ.

Asked for full pymt of $850. to be made to PayPal account not in her own name. Horse picked-up 5/23. Horse was to arrive in AZ 4-5 days later.

Never arrived and no phone calls. So spent another 4 days after that trying to reach her. She said the driver's truck broke and he was sick & all the horses in a boarding stable in Texas. Gave me stable phone #.

Then another FULL WEEK passed. I contacted driver who said he was not moving until Deanna sent him $.

On 06/03 Deanna told driver she wired him $. On 06/05 she told him she didn't send money. I called stable owner. She said driver would not release my horse or paperwork to another hauler and if he did ever deliver my horse we would all have to pay him, as Deanna told him we hadn't paid her (a lie in my case and I know in one other person's case.) He said all he cared about was his being paid.

So I contacted stable owner, said I would wire her $165. boarding Deanna owed to get him out of there. Stable owner agreed right thing to do - bad situation. Horse now still in Texas two weeks later staying at a safe location of a friend of a friend as of this AM.

I now have to hire and pay another hauler to haul from TX - AZ, a Vet for necessary health checks, Coggins test and paperwork to cross state lines (driver refused to give up my horse's paperwork) as well as having to have paid the boarding fees Deanna should have paid. This is going to cost me another $1000. plus.

My understanding that some of the other owners have not yet been contacted at all, they have no idea where their horses are! I have all e-mails proving all of this & statements from others involved as well as people who have found me who have also been ripped off. These horses have been in stables since 5/26/09! I only got my horse out today (06/06) & the other horses are still there.

Need $850.00 refunded, she did not fulfill contract in any way, shape or form. Also need $165.00 boarding fee refunded, Wetsern Union $26.00 wire fee to send money to stables to release my horse, and the cost of dozens and dozens of phone calls. Not to mention the distress and anguish of thinking my horse was dead or stolen for the four days I could not reach her

We did have a major breakdown, it was a total mess. The horse's we had on board were in a layover facility in indoor stalls. We did give Fred a full refund including his Western Union fee.

Horsein Around has refunded $200.00 for boarding in Texas and wiring of Western Union funds for same. Refund of $850.00 for transport has been promised and if received, will file a report. As of 06/08 still waiting for this.
