Why does a Realtor need "leads"? I thought that about 70% of houses sold were sold because the Realtor sign placed in front of the house told an interested prospective buyer whom & where to call. Sellers usually interview Realtors and select whomever they like. I selected a Realtor for the sale of our last house based on her quickness to call my relo representative. Other realtors played one game or another with me. Also she could walk around our property and point out every prior deficiency that had existed when I bought the place and that I had since corrected. She even pointed out two deficiencies that I had not noticed. The place sold in 3 weeks after it was listed.

My realty team has been a HouseValues-JustListed.com subscriber since March 2004 and we have averaged $10 in gross commissions for every $1 we have invested. Over $7 million in sales in in 2005 from this system alone! The system does work, but it requires following the company's training program closely and providing a real service to customers. Sure not every lead is a perfect lead, but our revenue numbers -- averaged over nearly four years -- speak for themselves and speak well for the company. Good service and diligence to the system provided by the company requires hard work. Bashing is easy. Succeeding takes work. They never guaranteed us success, just an opportunity to provide a good service and reap the financial benefits. Plus a free contact management system. Plus a free coaching service. Plus free training and webinars and seminars. And a cost per lead far lower than you have quoted.

Realtors rip people off every day. You got what you deserved! You were only going to use the leads to phone people who did not want you to call them! People should not use realtors because most realtors are criminals. Use a fsbo (for sale by owner) website if you want to sell your home. Don't pay more than $300 to list and sell your home on a fsbo website. You don't need a criminal (realtor) to sell your own home.
