Household Auto has been a joke from the get go. Along with the dealership rip off, they had us paying an unreal interest rate. When we got behind in Payments, they weren't willing to help at all.

They offered to increase our payments to get ahead, so instead of the 499 monthly payment we could give them 600 tp 650 biweekly for a month and a half. When these agreements were just not realistic they reposed the truck without any notification.

Which I realize isn't required by law. But we had made them aware that we were getting a 401k loan to pay them what we owed. They took the truck and not even a week later we recieved the money. So they offered to let us get the truck back, with lowered payments, based on our financial status. With a lowered interest rate.

We got the truck and made good payments for about 9 months, the payments were 395 a month, and the interest was lowered to 4.29%. When we would review the payment history on the balance we owed, it wasn't dropping that much.

We called to speak with someone and always got the runaround. Then we requested a Credit rating in wich we recievd. They had to have fabricated the entire document, As the social security number was incorrect, along with several other things.

They never in writing stated that the interest rate wasn't going to drop untill the interest impound was paid off. I to this day do not even know what the interest impound is. Our original loan amount was for 21,773.75 opened on 01/25/2002, on the credit rating it states that our present balance was 21,164.12 and the date for that was stated on 01/25/2003.

Now the Truck is again repossed as of November 13th. They had continued to post checks to our account in wrong amounts. And told us that they had been looking for the vehicle for over a month. Well they sent us a statement saying act now you can get your vehicle back, for only a limited time. When we called they said we had to give them 1,620.00.

The total redemption price is 20,258.82. And it is 11/28/2003. A calculated time frame of about 9,500 dollars in payments just to household. And the loan is only 500 dollars less almost 2 years later. How does that make any sense. They cannot give me any explanations, and always transfer me to differnet people in which I get disconected. They aren't getting caught because they mostly finance people with less than perfect credit, and cannot afford for an attorney to look over their claims of Househols misconceptions.

There is so much more to add but I cannot write a novel, I have all of the documentation, and I will get to the bottom of these scam artists. Household Financial Realestate just settled Huge lawsuit for the same exact things that are now going on in the Auto department!!!
