I have 2 HRS bank cards, one a BestBuy card and one a Ubid card. On both, I have returned items, and the bank and merchant have NO communication about it!

I have to make repeated phone calls to merchant and bank, they refuse to interact with each other. Each tells me to call the other to fix the problem. Ubid tells me to contact HRS to let them know when I've returned something. HRS says it's Ubid's

responsibility. They refuse to contact each other and they won't take MY word for things, of course. Took me 4 months to get a $300 credit for a returned item that Ubid told me had been credited, 4 times. HRS, meanwhile, had slapped on $29 charges for 1) over limit fee 2) late fees. PLUS -- I had only gotten ONE BILL from HRS during all this time! I literally SCREAMED at people to fix this.

Same with BestBuy, on a smaller scale. They abruptly cancelled something, claiming HRS told them I had no available credit, when I had about $500 available. This was a $19.00 item. Called each one, telling them to contact each other, but BestBuy kept saying "call your bank and fix your credit" and HRS kept saying "tell BestBuy you have available credit". Meanwhile, the item was cancelled, and I was still charged for it. And I STILL have available credit!

The customer service call center is staffed with morons. They reply to emails with answers that have nothing to do with the problem. It all comes back to them telling me to clean up my credit at HRS! I keep telling BestBuy that this is THEIR card's bank, and THEIR problem. I have made myself ill trying to communicate with all of them.

Are they corrupt, criminal, or just STUPID and incompetent?

What's with the merchant and bank not being in touch? Sounds like some kind of actionable offense to me. I am not glad to see others having issues with them, but at least I don't feel like it's me, they were starting to make me wonder if I'd done

something wrong, and I was pretty sure I had not!
