I received a letter telling me that I was the winner of $182,000 in unclaimed prize money, with an enclosed check for $3,175.00 to cover clearance and administrative fees. They said my name was radomly selected thru' a computerized ballot system.
The first thing I noticed was that the letter came in a plain envelope.... no return name or address.
The next thing I noticed was that the date of the letter was May 23rd, 2007 tho' I did not received it until today, June 15th.
Thirdly, the letter was a scanned copy... poorly done, I might add, as it was a little faded. (Running out of ink, I suppose, from sending out so many copies.)
And lastly, I was to call "my North American agent, Daniel Harris, at 1-705-770-1529." Isn't that strange that this was the same telephone number printed at the bottom of their letter as being HUB & ASSO.'s phone number?
Come on guys.... I'm 66 years old and even I am not fooled a bit!
My question is this... How did they know that I used North American to move me from state to state within the past couple of years?
