Do NOT Sign with Hughes Net!

The salespeople DO NOT provide you with full disclosure of how their system works even after you tell them HOW you use the internet.

They hit you with slowed down services with a "token system" that they never tell you about before you sign for 2 years.  When I say say slow, I mean DSL slow until you BUY more tokens. They also tritely say "well it's all over our website!   I didn't sign on from their site I talked to a "sales person".  Liars and extornists is what they are.

Then, when you call them on their fraudulent practices they let you know it will cost you a mint to cancel OR you can be further ripped off by upgrading which will cost more than 80 bucks a month.

Do not sign with HugesNet or any other Internet service until they give you EVERYTHING they require in writing...and even then read it three times and take it to a lawyer to read if you can.

American companies are by far the most dishonest I have dealt with for over 20 years.  I am definitely considering never using the internet again.  If I can beg borrow or screw someone for the money I need to cancel Huges I will definitely do so post haste!

I will use a library computer for research and my phone for business or go directly to whomever I need to contact once I shut it down.

NO to HughesNet!
