I have been a HughesNet Customer since May of last year. My experience of their billing practices has been one disaster after another. From using my credit card 3 times without my permission (I make one time payments) to threatening to cut off my service for being 4 days late and for having a past due bill of $14.00! It has taken months of trying to get a billing supervisor on the phone as the billing represntatives do EVERYTHING in their power to not get a supervisor on the phone. Because this is the only ISP in the area I live in I am very sadly at their beckon call. Just today they had me in tears AGAIN. I was told that my service would be disconnected (again) if I did not pay my FULL bill by April 8th. The invoice that I pay $4.99 a month for says the due date is April 24th. But somehow their computer system has all the power and is God!

Whatever can be done to stop these thieves would be greatly appreicated. I had to complain 4 times to FINALLY get them to stop using my credit card without my permission. Their sole excuse for doing what they do is because "they cannot override the system." I told them that the law can! The law is bigger than any over-charging computer system! Please help me to make this statement true!
