Here's what's really happening. If your coverage started a month later than expected, easy answer here. For whatever reason, you turned in info late past their deadline. Second, you don't have a 3500.00 copay, it's a deductible of some sort. Read the documents before you flame an innocent companies name.

I am certainly glad the Adolf from Indiana has no specific medical problems. Because I just got released from the hospital for mine, a stay that could have been totally avoided if this company would have covered medications as prommised. I not only had to hospitalized, but could have died from complications. Oh well to keep from dying all I have to do is pay $3526.92 a month for this drug, I don't get that much on my social security. I would like to take the time to thank the person who donated some medicine for me!

My wife and I both have Humana Gold PFFS(Medicare Health Care) policies. We also have office and prescription copayments. This policy does NOT have any premiums, which in my opinion and experience more than offsets the copayments. . This insurance has always been accepted when presented to local physicans, pharmacies, and the local hospital. . I'm sorry to read of your financial dilemma, but be advised your opinion of avoiding Humana is not shared by all policy holders. I have found it to be the correct choice. . Pre-existing conditions when dealing with a health care related insurer can be like walking in a mine field. I can't help but wonder if this might account at least in part for the problems you're experiencing. . I wish you the best of luck.
