Hunt and Henrique "Attorneys at Law" San Jose, California
After several years of getting phone calls from Hunt and Henrique I assumed that they would go away. They are trying to collect a debt from 1993 to Capital One Credit Card. The original debt was only $1200.00 and just yesterday I went to my bank to find out that they placed a levy on my bank account and withdrew all of my money. They are claiming that I owe them $8000.00. I need some help, and I need to figure out how to get this reversed. I have tried to contact the number that my bank gave me, but there is no answer.

They can't take money out of your bank account without a court judgement. In order to get one of those, they would have had to officially serve you with a summons to appear in court. Did they ever do that? If not, you need to contact the bank and find out what court issued the judgement. Contact the clerk and find out the steps you need to go through to contest the judgement because of improper service.
On the other hand, if you were served and you ignored it, then a default judgement was entered against you and there's not much chance you can do anything about it now.
