Going to the Attorney General is more then likely a waste of your time and energy. So you felt that to get a settlement, you had to eat your former words??? A golden rule in law is always try to get something in return. Even if you've got them by the B*lls, their lawyer will still try to extract something in return. In your case he got you to wuss out a retraction even though you could have told him to shove it and proceeded with legal action. And he would have lost just as has happened. Thats why he pays him the big bucks for his dealership. I'll give you rule #2 in legal circles. Never be intimidated by any lawyers manueverings. Lawyers are bluffing and posturing all the time even when they don't have a leg to stand on. Its their job.

Well got all the paperwork off to the ILLINOIS ATTORNEY GENERAL,ILLINOIS SECRETARY OF STATE AND MY ATTORNEYS DID GET THE PAPERWORK FROM ILLINOIS DMV THAT SHOWS MY NEW VEHICLE WAS REGISTERED TO SOMEONE ELSE ON 9-23-2006 BEFORE I BOUGHT IT 12-9-2006 ALSO HAVE CHEVROLET AND GMAC FINANCE INVOLVED SO BASICALLY I BELIEVE I HAVE THE CHEATING BASTARDS BY THERE LITTLE BALLS AS PER EVERYONE I TALKED TO IT WOULD BE IN HUNTLEY CHEVROLET BEST INTEREST TO SETTLE THIS BUT I HAVE NOT EVEN HEARD FROM THEM WHICH DOES NOT SUPRISE ME AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION FOUND OUT THE INVOICE THEY SHOWED ME WAS NOT THE REAL INVOICE CHEVROLET PROVIDED ME THE CORRECT INVOICE WHICH PRICED THE TRAILBLAZER QUITE LOWER THAT IS WHY GMAC IS GETTING INVOLVED UNLESS MR.WULBERT STRAIGHTENS THIS MESS OUT THAT HIS OLD SALES TEAM CREATED

Tried to sell me a vehicle one time with over a thousand miles on it. Told me it was their demo. also. Come to find out they had "sold" it to some guy in Laredo, 150 miles away and who's financing hadn't "worked out". It took them two weeks to get it back. Because the vehicle hadn't been registered, they could claim it was a new vehicle. Due to the fact that your vehicle had been registered, it was a used car when you bought it. Did it have DMV plates or dealer plates when you bought it? The loophole is, as long as the vehicle hasn't been registered, it can be sold as new or a demo. It doesn't matter how long or how hard it's been driven. With all the problems you're having, sounds like the last guy got rid of it because it was a "lemon". Who knows, they probably took it back and "upgraded" him into another vehicle for $5000 more. Heck, they could probably sell this vehicle several more times and do the same thing. Just remember when you asked the sales manager about the mileage and napkins. If a car guy's lips are moving, he's lying.
