Needed a truck to pull a new toy hauler we were going to Las Vegas to buy. Saw a 2011 2500HD up on the racks at the dealer. Went in and Spencer came up to me and we started talking about the truck up on the racks. Of course he started his BS. Long story short he told me it would pull a mountain. I told him what my new trailer weighed not loaded and what I was loading it with. He said this Vortec V8 would have no problem pulling anything up the hill on Hwy 80. We shook hands and did the deal.

We traded in our 2007 Nisson. He gave us $6,000. Well come to find out when I drove the truck to Vegas to get the new trailer coming back I felt the truck was sluggish. Didint think to much about it at the time. Had to get home. 12 hour drive. We went camping the next weekend and driving up the hill loaded into Reno she said she didnt think the truck pulled the trailer very well. I agreed. When we got home I went back into the dealer and there was Spencer. Hey how are you, how;s the new truck. I said horrible. It doesnt tow the trailer and I want to bring the truck back and get our car back or the $6,000 so we can go buy a truck that pulls the trailer. He said he cant???? I said why???? he said he didnt have the car??? I said then give me $6,000???? He said No. I got involved with the owner who was a smart a*s and he told me to go pound salt. OK, I went across the street and had to buy a older truck, a higher monthly payment and a higher interest rate. The dealers at the automall said they know of this dealer. They hear it all the time. Bottom line is I want $3,000 to make up for the older truck, higher monthly payment and higher interest rate. Not to mention my time.

They lie. They dont care. The sales guy sells cars and not trucks and he had no idea what this truck could or can pull. I trusted him and he lied to me.

I test drove the truck. Down Douglas Blvd not with a 27ft toy hauler behind it. Have you ever gone and bought a vehicle tben try to use that as a trade 2 weeks later. Tgey did t give me what I paid for the Chevy. What are you? You defend things you know notbing about? Bottom line is the sales guy told me something that wasnt true. Thats it. When you lie you fess up. You dont lie more.

Colorado,
Wouldn't it have been advisable to test drive the truck?

You really weren't very careful in you purchases.

" I went across the street and had to buy a older truck, a higher monthly payment and a higher interest rate."

How did you manage to trade the 2011 for an older truck and end up with a higher payment and higher interest rate?

You should have help when you make ANY major purchases.  You were very complicit in the "Ripoff."
