ICA A Quick Search Revealed Too Many Negatives Money up front is their policy Newport Beach California
We have a small child and we could not get in the door after the first and free "Talk" that Helene gave. from the moment she began speaking it sounded too much like a sales pitch, and I understand that everyone has to make a living, but from the looks of the people in that room it was very evident that they recruit right off the street and sell a dream. The worst part was the scare tactics, no agent no work, no investment no work, you have to be conected or you won't work, it all sounded as if ICA was/is the only way to get started with show business, and that was the red flag that made me do a search for their business practices.
$600 might not be much to some folks in this O.C. area, but some of the folks in the room looked like they could barely afford new clothes, which again gave us the impression that they want money up front from whomever. I hope that they can clear their image, and I would give them my business if they did, but for the time being I am glad I checked the Internet and found not only this report, but others; including one from the Better Business Bureau.
