I saw an article on the MSNBC internet page so I thought it could be trusted. This was for website building at a low cost (under $5.00) for shipping a kit.
I signed up for a website building kit on 5/4/2010. This was to be "rushed" to me for a 3-day trial. It is now 5/12/10 and I have received nothing.
Further, there was a hidden fee of over $139 that was mentioned after I signed up, to be charged following the 3-day trial. It was charged on 5/10/2010 to my charge card without my consent or receipt of the "kit".
Finally, they suggested I sign up for a charge merchant account as "no one usually pays cash or a check for something purchased on the internet". This account was with innovativegateway.com and I believe they will be charging $29 per month for charge capability.
I want a refund from ICM Websites, cancellation of any account with them and with innovativegateway.com.

IBM Websites has sent an attachment indicating a credit to me. However, that is not an official credit receipt, but only a typed statement in their own records. Attached is a message from my bank indicating NO CREDIT/REFUND of the $139.95 charge to my debit card. It has now been over a month since this unauthorized charge to my debit card was made.

I still await a credit to my check card as ICM Websites has repeatedly stated that they have refunded/credited. Although they may show their internal record of a refund, it has not been made/received. Their charge of $139.95 (unauthorized) was made on May 10, 2010...STILL WAITING....

The credit records indicated by ICM Websites are their bookkeeping records...I used a debit card for the transaction so this is a credit that I don't have to wait a month to see on a charge account statement. If truly refunded on 5/17/2010, it would not take this long to appear in my bank account.
