IConnectHere.com IConnectHere lie about charges and fees, refused to issue refund, and don't respond to emails, unless you nag enough Internet
I signed up to IConnectHere based on the features they advertised. Before even receiving my VOIP adapter and setting it up I started getting charged by them. I emailed them several times inquiring about what the charges were for, but they didn't respond. They do NOT provide a phone number or an email address, so I had to contact them through their online form. They have an live chat system, which didn't work. It's pretty clever of them actually, since this way there is no proof that you contacted them. So they keep charging you until you're persistant enough to find a way to reach them.
I finally got the live chat to work, after 2 weeks of trying. Of course I got an Indian person, who did not understand what I was saying - and all I got were canned responses. I got fed up and just told him that I will be contacting my credit card company, the BBB, FTC and attorney general. Several days later, I got an email saying "Please be informed that since you are a Valuable customer with us we will go ahead and cancel the account.
We are sorry to inform you that we are unable to refund any amount since all the funds has been used." So I emailed back saying the same thing I told the guy on the chat. However, they still refused to issue the refund. They charged me a total of $72. So I'm starting my attack here, and will keep posting on other forums as well as contact the proper authorities about this.
Stay away from this company - they are thieves!
