ID THEFT PROTECT PANAMA PA Company took money from my bank account,(same as report filed by Cathy C. of Savannah, Georgia, Got phone number from another company, called them and they refunded my money. UNKNOWN, Internet
I had responded to a phone call regarding three services that you could look at for a minimal charge ($3.95 in this case) for 30 days and then they would charge their regular fee of $29.99 after that. The other companies were "Leisure Time Savings Club" phone 800-307-4149. This is the phone number I called and they said they were associated with ID THEFT PROTECT PANAMA PA, and gave me their phone number (877-483-2057). The other two companies were "Auto Discounts and Travel", and "Smart Shopper Savings Plan". I cancelled the three plans (did not know that the ID THEFT PROTECT PANAMA PA was part of the package) and thought I had cancelled them all.
I will say that when I called them and explained to them what was happening, they cancelled my plan and refunded the 29.99 to my account (at least that is what they said they are going to do.) Only called them today (9/27/11) and they said it would take 5-7 business days and did give me a confirmation #.
