After I watched their infomercial about the WINDSTORM vacuum cleaner, I decided to call them and order one and get one free, as they advertised. The recorded voice asked me if I wanted to order a few other items and right away my gut feeling told me to hang up on them and forget about the whole thing. But, I went along and ordered a few items for about $30.00
A few months later, I received a post card from UPS telling me to pick up a package from IGIA that they could not deliver because they only a had a P.O. Box #. I drove some 20 miles to pick up the package. There was no itemized bill. When I opened the box, I found 4 vacuum cleaners and nothing else.
A few weeks later, I received another notice from UPS telling me to pick up one more package. By the time I got to their office, they told me they had sent it back!
When I received the bill from VISA I was being charged $368.62
I e-mailed IGIA and explained my situation. They referred me to the customer service (1-800-716-8667). I called them and they had me on hold for 2 and a half hours, listening to some annoying tunes. After more than two hours, somebody disconnected me!
I e-mailed them again and they referred me to the same phone again. I replied to them that I would never again call that phone, and that I would get in touch with my Visa card customer service, which I did. At this point I am still battling with my credit card bank.
