In August 2001 I was watching an Info-Commercial by Igia products advertising the Igia ElectroSage 8, needless to say I was moved, so I ordered the ElectroSage8 for 42.00 and change. Thinking that I was going to recieve with the order a mens sportwatch ( this watch never came)sinched the deal. When I called back on the missing watch they said, to recieve the watch I was suppose to include a small shipping and handling charge. This was never explained to me.

I recieved my order on September 14th 2001. By December I had used the ElectroSage about a 18 times. On December 16, 2001

I ordered replacement pads as the ones that came with it were no longer sticking to the body. I was originally told that they would last about 40 to 60 applications. Well I guess 18 aplications is par for the coarse.

Never the less on February 11, 2002 I went to use my ElectroSage 8 and sure enough it would not work. I guess that things happen so naturally I called Igia and while speaking with Nina a customer rep she informed me that The product only had a 30 day warranty. Conveniently she added that at the time of purchase I should have purchase the extended warranty. This was never offered at anytime until this conversation. By now very politely

I asked to speak with a manager. I waited a few minutes a guy named Mike #5901 said he was the manager and sorry no exceptions.

The conversation with Mike lasted less than 30 seconds.

This experience speaks volumes about a company. In this day and age there are too many reputable companys to buy from who will value your business. I tell this story from the heart and only hope that someone will read this so that they can avoid getting ripped off as I have. I am going to tell this story to everyone I know starting with a memo first thing tomorrow to the 650 people I employ and I will ask them to tell there friends.

There is no room for a company like Igia in this great country.

I would not normally for 62.00 make such a big deal about this experience however I wish for other people to not have to go through an experience like this. Mostly though its a matter of principle.
