Just opened my AT&T bill and there is a charge from ILD Teleservices, Inc. for Familycontact911.com - setup fee plus taxes. Their charge was $15.95, the Fed charged me .08 cents taxes and then Illinois charged me $1.12 taxes. I have never heard of these people and I never signed up for this. I cannot believe that these scam artists can just do this and all we can do is dispute the charge with AT&T for 65 days until we get the company to credit the account.

The phone number listed on my phone bill just disconnects you as soon as you call. My theory is that these people must somehow be connected to Dealer Services, Inc., a scam artist that sells extended auto warranty plans. My reason for thinking this is that the charge for Familycontact911.com hit my bill the day after I was taken by the Dealer Services people. They kept pushing me to give them additional phone numbers, but I only gave them my home number.

Anyways, I don't have any proof of this, it is just a theory. The people at AT&T said that they cannot "block" third parties from billing my AT&T account, which is unbelievable. That means that any scam artist can get your phone number and bill your phone bill and you can't do a thing to stop them. They told me to register my phone number on the 'Do Not Call Registry." I just cannot believe this is happening. Dispute the charge with your phone company and then do your best to find these people and get them to credit your phone bill.

Send faxes to: Lorraine McClin-Olriedge at 954-777-3184 1. I changed my phone number to an un-listed number and registered it with the "Do Not Call Registry." I changed numbers so the recurring charges would not be able to take place. 2. AT&T WAS able to put a third-party billing block on my account. 3. After a lot of research, I found a fax number and told them to credit my AT&T account. I received a response, but whether or not they do so, remains to be seen. They say it takes 2-3 billing cycles. People you have to fight back, you cannot just file a report on here. I know not everyone has access to a fax machine, but don't you think it is worth whatever Kinko's would charge you if it works? 1. Contact and file a report with the Better Business Bureau. 2. Contact your local State Attorney General's Office. You cand find that information by typing "your state+attorney general" into any search engine. 3. Contact your local FBI office. You can find this by going to the FBI website and typing in your zip code. 4. Contact your regional postal inspector. I have tracked down all the corporate entities related to the two scam artists that have victimized me in the past month. The 4 steps I just listed is what I will be doing to stick it back to the scam artists, and I recommend you do the same. Unless everyone comes forward on this, the authorities can't really do anything. If I were not in the legal field, I would not have thought of all these things, which is why I'M PASSING THE KNOWLEDGE ON TO YOU.
