ILD fraudulent ripoff billing from hell Whitehall Ohio
I just recieved a bill from my telephone company and come to find out a company ILD (some voicemail company) was billing me 14.08 every month. I spoke to ILD and they were saying that I opened an account with them thru the internet. Which they said that it was thru my AOL account. Which I have cancelled 3 years ago. Funny huh??? ILD gave me an address: Toll Free Voice Messaging
ATTN: Accounting DEPT PO BOX 990-165 Boston, MA 02199. And of course me being smart about it I asked for the corp. number and they gave me the excuse that corp doesn't get incoming calls they can only do outgoing calls. And I told the ILD what kind of business would do that??? So of course I asked for the supervisor. And ILD said well the supervisor was busy with another call. So I waited and waited and I finally got a call, and Victoria was her name.
Telling me that I opened the account with them and I told her that she would have to call AOL Service center and offered the confirmation number of cancellation and she told me that I wouldn't have worry about further charges. We will see what happens. Personally they are a dirty company.
