My sweet husband bought be a spa package at Imagine You New from Half-Off Depot in February 2013. When I called in March to book the appointment, I was told the first available was May 29. I thought the woman was joking. She was not.
On the afternoon of May 28, I received a voicemail saying my appointment was canceled. I called back twice that day, but got no response to my calls or messages. The next afternoon Katie returned my call. She claimed to be unfamiliar with the package I had, despite the fact that I was reading the services to her from her own spa's confirmation that I had received a few days before.
The next available appointment was August 7. Really???
Again, I laughed. When I told Katie this was unacceptable, she put me on hold and never came back. She did not respond to by call back either. I emailed the spa and told her that I would be filing reports with the BBB, the state and Half-Off Depot if I she did not satisfactorily schedule an appointment for me. I have heard nothing from her.
This business is a sham.
The deal expires in August. I think this spa is selling these online deals (there was also a recent Groupon deal) with no intention of providing the service.
I want a refund. When I told Katie that, she said to contact Half-Off Depot. My husband contacted Half-Off Depot, but he has not heard back.
I want my money back, and I want the business to cease operating this way. These are fraudulent business practices.

This is a pattern of deceit. I have seen many other posts like this and I am now having the same experience. My next steps will be to file a complaint with the BBB and Half Off Depot

I don't know who has been giving you bad reviews on your site, but it's not me.
I have not reviewed your spa on your site. My husband wrote one review on your site. That is it. You must have others who are upset with your service.
As I said, I have received a credit from Half-off Depot. I am done. I am writing now only to tell you to look elsewhere for the person who is posting the reviews on your site. It's not me.

Bianca called me on Tuesday, June 4, to discuss my posting of my experience with Imagine You New online. This was the first contact the spa had with me in nearly a week (May 29). That's how long it took to get a call back after Katie put me on hold and never came back. And no one returned my call or my husband's to the spa voicemail. When Bianca called on June 4, she did not offer to get me in quickly. In fact, she confirmed that the spa has a two-month bookout. Customers need to know that when purchasing such offers online. Just be honest about your business practices. That's not too much to ask. The short of it: I will not be visiting Imagine You New, as I told Bianca. A reputable business would offer the refund, not make anyone go to Deal Depot, given the fact that Bianca's business has been unable to provide the service.
The truth is not slanderous (check First Amendment law). As I told Bianca yesterday, everything that I have written about the business and the experience is the truth. And Bianca did not deny that. I am sorry that she doesn't like reading the truth.

Wendy, I understand the inconvenience we may have caused you. You are able to get your money back from half off depot and we called you and gave you the option to come in quickly. When we offer a 240 deal for 48 dollars unfotunately we get a lot of people who take advantage of the deal and we do have to book appointments out. I understand you are frustrated and we have tried to talk to you to make this better. I would appreciate if you could stop the continuous harrasment and slander you continue to do daily on the internet. Once again I apologize. Thank you. Bianca
