Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Used Immaculate Tree Service since 2000, trusted the owner's advice as to need for removal of trees, never questioned his asking price Irene caused a huge tree to overhang our pool filter and pool, Owner's foreman said charge for immediate removal would be $3,000 or $1,000 if we waited. Expect to pay a reasonable premium for rush job, perhaps DOUBLE but three times the cost? Unfortunately, my husband agreed.

they chopped down the tree and left it there saying they would return and finish we called and asked to speak to Ira.. told he was out of town called again and again.. told job would be done by 10/7 nothing.  we were grossly overcharged in an emergency and they never intended to return .

just 2 days prior to Irene we had  3 trees removed for $2,600 TOTAL.. so much for ethical business practices with your local vendor tree is still laying on the property and we are out $3,000 for an incompleted job that goes for $1,000 on another day

Ira personally supervised the completion of the job today and we resolved our misunderstanding on site. We have resumed our former 10 yr. relationship and will continue to use his company in the future with confidence.
As indicated in my original report, we never had any prior complaints and hope to avoid any future miscommunications.
Situation was unfortunate as we are also personally fond of Ira.

Hi-My name is Ira Einhorn--I am the manager of Immaculate Tree Service Inc.---The customer that wrote  the report about us price gouging and not finishing the job unfortunately did not explain the story correctly--we have done many many jobs in the past for these people and  their was never a problem--Ira,Ira,Ira--great work -great job etc--until the hurricane----during the storm and the days that followed just about every customer that ever hired us in the past called us and we recieved hundreds of calls when the people in this "bad"report called (right after the storm ended) we were handling PRIORITY STORM DAMAGE and SAFETY JOBS (trees on houses-on cars etc.) -------being the responsive manager that i am i sent my foreman/salesman Joe over to their home to look at what needed to be done --he explained to the homeowner as stated also in the "bad" report that we are swamped with work and that if he waits about a week the job would cost 1000.00 but if he wants us to come today it would be 3000.00-------how is that price gouging---i was very honest and up-front about our situation and he agreed---we didnt race over to the property,do the job and present him with a bill------WE HAD TREES ON TOP AND INTO HOMES WAITING FOR US ALREADY------ We made it very clear that we would come over right away-(within 20 minutes)-safely remove the tree over the pool filter and the fence and after its all cut up and the branches chipped we would return and move the cut up logs 15 feet over to his log pile-we explained that we only have enough daylight and we have all these other jobs to get to so even though after taking down the trees    it will only take about 20 minutes to move the wood and that we have to do it at a later date-everything was ok --and i spoke with these people a number of times telling them that we did not forget and that   all our work was pushed up and then we got 3-4 days of rain here on long island--these people were always nice to me in the past and they have loads of unsplit log piles all over their property so the problem was not us and waiting to finish --the problem i suspect here peope and this is not unusual  is that the man of the house did not talk to the lady of the house about the price and im in the middle!!! not fair---i actually sent my men over today to move the logs hopefully mary stops trying to ruin our reputation for something her husband agreed to.-----------

Can't complain about the price.

If $3K was not worth it, why did your husband agree to it?   I agree that not finishing the job is bad, but you can't really complain about the price.   I often pay more for a service if I can jump to the head of the line.   Time really is money.    If you can wait, then pay $1K and get on the list.   Problem solved.
