I want to confirm the horrible allegations against this company. I was a high placed leader, above even Matt Jaohson, and moved into the position of Assistant Manager before he mysteriously packed up and left before paying me for that position, I worked side by side with Jeff Sanchez and witnessed his worst. He has since closed up shop and moved to Atlanta, along with Matt. Natalie Chavez, a 19 year old, was fired because she was allowed to handle paychecks for the company and was shaving everybodyies hours. Now I will say Jeff tried to pay for what he thought he could get sued for, but he skimmed hours, skimmed money. And for how much he made? He lost money, he was in debt to Smart cirlce after less than a year in operation. He Bitched and moaned for 30 minutes about having to buy 6 employees lunch at subway after working 5 hours at his storage unit because he wanted us to clock it in. He did this because the company did not pay hourly to anybody who earned a higher comission rate, but, wait, you can't earn comission working outside hours.
Not to mention I myself worked average of 60-70 hours a week and was only paid 10 hours overtime on my best days. But I will say this, I made better money for Jeff than I did working for the woman who followed him. Devanie Baker, owner of Albuquerque Marketing Company, was a heartless b***h who sent me back and forth from Santa Fe 3 times in one week and then paid me $10.50 gas money. She cut everybodies hours, forced us all to have dinners and meetings with our "Team Members" weekly, and paid for none of it. She also threatened firing for anybody who complained about the extra hours. On top of this, she then positioned me, who was the top leader at the time, into a position where I was forced to quit, because she took me off the schedule for a week, because one of my team members couldn't average sales above 900 a day. No mention that my other team members were removed from my team and put into leadership, no mention about my having to travel for three months straight for jeff, this b***h, after realizing that I had travelled so much and had no time to see my girlfriend for 2 months because I was in Roswell, then Demanded I hop on a jet to L.A. to go sell a product following the roadshow BY THE CLIENT. I threw a fit, my team members were sent instead, and she "Gave me time to think on my future in the company" I politely excused myself from her company, but I don't even put it on resume's I am so ashamed of what we were forced to do. We learned lies about products, then were told "tell the Truth" we learned horror stories about these products and were told "Everybody makes mistakes, it's not the product" and we were wheeled and Dealed all over the country for less than minimum wage. Worstly, if you do make money, THEY POST YOUR PAYCHECK on the company flyer. My best paycheck was little more than 1100 after taxes, which sounds good, but keep in mind, I had only 900 on comission for two weeks, over 150 in back pay for renting cars, buying gas, and driving across two states in 48 hours for these assholes and another 50 in overtime, when I worked almost 25 hours of overtime that week.
The really frightening thing is that the Roadshow Division, which was imperial marketing and is Now ABQ marketing group, is the best paid. These guys run scams in coupons, DirectTV, and even b2b ,marketing. Tei consulting is also under this psuedonym, and also DirectTV hires these people for work at Sams and Costco. if you are approached by these people at a Sam's or a Costco and feel they seem agressive, REPORT IT, they lose their job when a customer complains, and you will be doing them a favor, furthermore, if Sams and Costco realize the kind of savagery these people are brainwashing into these kids, Smartcircle will be back to working in booths out of parking lots and doing Door to door with their products.
Smart Circle products include ME Makeover Essentials, Whip-it cleaners, Sevan Bakery, Body Comfort in Sams (Mall boco is legit), Gourmet Traditions Cutlery, Stylehouse Straighteners (Mall is Not Smart circle), Mops, Avani skin products, and some mops and car wax that haven't reached NM yet. This is a national corporation that subsists on new People all the time. If you start with them, ask yourself why no Onwer has been there more than two years, EVEN JULIA DAVIS, one of the bigwigs, who I personally sat down with, she is younger than me. These people WILL make you invest up to 3000 of your own money before you become an owner, and you will leave owing them, quit before you get to Assistant and you can help drain them a bit.

Hello,
I am a current employee of the company. I have worked for the company for about 3 months now.
I have interacted with Jeff, Matt and Natalie..and have had nothing but positive experiences....I have been paid for everything I have done, If anything I have been rewarded (moniterally) for the hard work I have done. We also work inside costco's and Sam's clubs...these companies would not allow any company like you are describing to be apart of them...to pay their workers less than minimum wage...and from my experience at the company I have never been paid less than minimum wage...Do you have proof that you were paid less than minimum wage?
You also said he got paid 24k/yr...did he show you his payroll?
Please respond cause if this is the case then I would like to know so I can quit
