Complaint Review: IMT CREDIT REPAIR - Cape Coral Florida

I was a customer of IMT credit services and the reason why I am putting my comments is because I started my services in the same office that Joe stated above, but someone told me to look at this info about IMT and I just wanted to comment on it. I went to the office one day to get some information on how to repair my credit, and as I walked into the office I was greeted by a very outgoing gentlemen. This man was very good, as a past sales man that I was, I can tell that this man was a very good sales man. I guess if you have the right technique and a comfortable environment, your sales pitch is going to work. As soon as I was greeted I was introduced to the idea of repairing my credit so that i can purchase a home. I did not go to that office to purchase a home, but that was the impression that I was getting from this gentlemen. After a lengthy presentation of the company I decided to give it a shot since I had no other choice. I was asked to pay 400.00 up front for the forms and processing of my account. The rest of the money, which was another 400.00, was very flexible to pay since I did not have to pay if there was not result. After 60 days of the processing I received a few letters from the credit agencies providing me with a summary of my credit history. I also saw that the company had help me remove many old and wrong information that was on my credit. I was very happy with the results, until one day I was called by the same gentlemen to come by and fill out a few more forms. I was working with the company so I did not think much of it. I'm not the smartest person in the world, i know that this person was not processing out of that office. There must have been a main office which I later found. I started getting in the mail credit card offers and mortgage information which I don't think I approved of. I was then able to find the main office and I met this person named Elvis. He was also outgoing, but nothing like the gentlemen in that office. Yes Elvis is a car sales man, but I guess he used his experience to make a living just like any one of us. What I found out was troubling, I decided to continue my communication with the main office. And I am glad that I found the main office. I then explained to them all the information asked by this gentlemen. And a lady, I guess she was from Brazil due to the accent, explained to me that IMT credit does not ask for any of that information. I continued to work with this lady and later found out that this gentlemen is no longer working with the company. He was asking customer to fill out information that IMT credit did not approve of and was also asking for more money with out IMT credit knowledge. To me i never had any problems with IMT credit, but I think that Joe may have been a victim of this gentlemen and not IMT. I'm still working on my credit file with IMT and there have not been any problems. I later heard this gentlemen in the radio station stating he can fix you up in 30 days. And I also saw him on TV with the same aggressive attitude. To me I think IMT credit was a victim of it's employees. That is why I only recommend the company and not the individuals in those branch offices. I have a small suggestion for IMT. Please let the consumer know where your main office is located, that way they can have a line of communication. And to Joe please allow IMT to make it up to you. I met some very helpful people there, and I'm sure they can do the same with you. Do not judge the company just yet for your experience. If you live in Lee County, please watch out for those who pretend. Since I became a customer with IMT I have seen a few other credit repair companies spawn out of this one. There is war of credit repair companies here in Lee County. So far IMT has worked well.
