Charles of IMT Residential refused to respond or even acknowledge our complaint. We put up $1000 deposit to live in a new townhouse for 12 months. Now that we have moved out and gotten our refund, he will not respond. We were charged almost $500 for painting. What needs to be painting in a 1 year old unit?! We hung a few pictures but definitely did not damage anything. They also deducted money from an alleged unpaid water bill from 3 months prior to our move out. We paid directly to IMT our water utilities with the rent. I can easily prove this since my checking account can show that each month we paid more than our actual monthly rent (thus the added water bill). I have written a clear and detailed email. No response. Called. No response. I asked to get copies of receipts for the work itemized in our deductions. No response. IMT Residential is unethical and does not honor their committments or their customers. STAY AWAY! All we ask is to have the receipts showing why we had so much deducted or refunded a reasonable amount. That is lawful under civil code 1950.5. We are not unreasonable. We just want some consideration and justice. IMT Residential does not care about doing good business.
